UNDERGRADUATE COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR DESIGN(UCEED)
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design(UCEED) is an entrance exam for the admission in Bachelor of Design. The examination is hosted by the Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a descriptive test covering a student's logical, creative, observation and drawing skills, tested in particular for admission to various design courses in the fields of product design, industrial design, visual communication, animation graphics, vehicle design and mobility. COURSES OFFERED
Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
This four-year course is offered in eight course in IITs as well as other private institutes offering design.
Design here mean the various facets of design especially covering product related design, visual, communication, industrial design, graphics and animation design, interaction (User-interactive) etc.
The course generally overviews all the different fields so that after BDes one could choose for specific design stream as their field of study say through CEED exam (for MDes). It mean BDes is a general courses and as far as I know, there are no separate branches just like in BTech or any other Bachelors. You can check UCEED official page for more details.
There are three main eligibility criteria to appear for UCEED. Since B.Des in IIT Bombay is a bachelor’s degree offered for undergraduates, along with the number of attempts one takes to clear UCEED, age and educational qualification are also taken into consideration.

Master of Design (M.Des)
A Master of Design (M.Des.) is a postgraduate academic master degree in the field of Design awarded by several academic institutions around the world.

A Master of Design (MDes, M.Des. or M.Design) often follows a Bachelor of Design degree and requires around two years of study & research in design.
some M.Des are equivalent to Master of Fine Arts and others to a Master of Arts or Master of Science postgraduate degree in alternative disciplines)
The competition in CEED is very fierce and the number of seats available in the above mentioned design schools are very limited. There is no specific text book or guide recommended by the CEED committee for students.
THowever it is expected that the candidates have exceptional sketching, rendering and visualization skills.
